The Secret to Keeping New Year’s Weight Loss Resolutions

Many people make New Year’s Resolutions to lose weight and get in shape. However, not many people succeed. One study says that 8 out of 10 of us will give up by February. There’s even an unofficial holiday on January 17 called Ditch New Year’s Resolutions Day.

So, does that mean it’s pointless to make a resolution? Are you just setting yourself up for a big fail? No. You see something that you want to change. You just need the right tools to help you do it.

You’ve probably heard the saying, “Do what you love and you’ll never work another day in your life.” The same principle can help you stick to your resolutions. If you receive frequent rewards for what you do (mental or physical), you are much more likely to stick with it.
